« on: April 06, 2010, 06:31:38 PM »
Is it just me or do the zekes stall MUCH easier since the new patch?  :noid
If it is a new realistic zeke Im all for it but if not, I'd like some light on it. Thanks

I haven't noticed any significant change to the flight model since they fixed the combat trim issue, but that was awhile back.

Yes I have noticed it. A6m's are my main planes. Several other A6m  pilots have asked about or mentioned it to me also.

All I fly are Zekes and I'm almost ashamed to say I haven't noticed any difference.

Why don't people post films showing what they mean and better describe the issue other than "it feels off"?

Thank you for that useless addition to this thread. What I am talking about is a tendency of the Zero to stall more easily. Before the patch you could do a loop or an immelman and have no trouble conserving your E and you would rarely hear the stall horn blaring, the plane was amazing to fly and was never sluggish or difficult. Now, I can hardly finish an immelman without the stall horn blaring and the plane becoming sluggish. I have also noticed this in the Seafire and LA-7.

I use mediafire to host the films I post.  If you convert the films to .avi, I think you can use photobucket as well.

It wasn't a useless post, it was a "tongue in cheek" joke. In a very large percentage of post like this one it is "operator error" due to the operator not knowing what he/she is doing. Last month I was 4 to 1 k/d, this month I'm almost 2 to 1 in a zero. While I don't have a ton of time in the zero it is my favorite plane for base defense. I haven't noticed any difference in the plane when I've been flying it. Then again I fly it on the edge of stall ALL the time so the buzzer is ALWAYS going when I fly it.

Also, Myfreefilehosting.com is a good free site to host films as well.

OK here is one. Same thing has happened to me several times since the last major update. Would like to know if it's myerror or what.

Also have been able to fly it with one wing missing which I never been able to do before. Last night I landed on a turning carrier with one wing but forgot to film it.
