Teenage Girls
Rarely are they useful for something intellectual, especially at public high schools, and are interested in people other than flight sim nerds. Unless they are orchestra teenage girls.

Oh yeah, the other perks of being a high schooler are the scathing rumors that get spread about you, and that you can spread...

Lastly, it isn't the real world. Yet.

Deeply discounted or free dental work, and free crowns for my teeth if I happen to need one, though I never have so far.  Come to think of it, I've never needed any dental work done either.  I'm getting screwed here.

Um.....I get to work with a paintbrush or a high speed handpiece all day and I don't have to deal with the public in any fashion.  I create things with my hands to make people's lives better, and sometimes I get to make crowns for quasi famous people.  That's much better.

I get to see people at good points in their lives and console them at their worst.

Plus I like my office :

Not sure if it is a "perk" but I ran across Darryl Waltrip and his crew passing through the Amarrilo airport today.  I didn't talk to him because I realized it was him while we were both washing our hands in the bathroom, and that is sort of a weird place to strike up a conversation.

Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

Well I get to fly the 'plane. :airplane: Which I think is a bit of a perk even though it's really my job. I used to get a free lunch and as many cups of tea as I liked. Not anymore. In today's economic climate having a job is a perk!

When I worked for IBM, the only perks I remember were a free umbrella and a coffee mug. We didn't even get PCs at a discount and they invented the things. Oh, I did get a good laptop bag. Oh wait that wasn't a perk :t :P
