Hmmm The Fiat G.55 Centauro was better than the 2005 overall and it was not that seldom. But hell, more Italian planes is better than no new italian plane. The 2005 has my wote it is such a beauty (but so is the G.55 so make em both) And btw the KI-67 Peggy is the next Axis bomber out,,, GREAT what the F*** they could note find a better plane than BURNING PEGGY. It lights upp like a Kuwaity Oil well when visited by Uncel Sadam. Hmmm I know AH is based in Texas, but for the love of christ GIVE US THE HE-177 or the JU-188 dont give us childrens toys, we want BIG BOYS TOYS and that is something the peggy is not. I am tired of flying B-17 when a Heavy bomber is needed (no the peggy is NOT a heavy bomber)

I own one you know...

All it needs is an airframe, engine, weapons set, and control pannel  :D

I have a build data plate for one.

Why would anyone want this (admittedly pretty) flying prototype when there are so many Italian planes of so much more significance?

this is a story of a duel between spit and re2005.
I ask excuse but I do not succeed translate the story.  :(

I have one of those little Osprey books on Italian aces.

The R2005 isn't mentioned once. Not once. Not one pilot became an ace in it (although some aces did fly it).

It's a irrelevence.

And...as it seems that there may be some activity on the events in AH, I'd have thought some thing event specific, such as an Italian bomber would be of far more use.

A Malta scenario would be heaps of fun (may be they could beat the Brits for once).

Seeker,
we dont need a Malta scenario. We usually kick RAF's arses in the Main with our C.205, Bf109 and Fw190    ;)

So you're in favor of a Malta scenario, then Gatt?   :)

Won't you be needing some Fiats first?

Hehe Seeker, I'd love a Malta scenario  :) However, I'm aware that the Spitfire MkV is too tough for the C.202. Mhhhhh ... what about a big, ugly, fat, Voke (sp?) filter to slow down your clean MkV?  ;)

P.S.: over Malta there were Macchi C.200 and C.202, Re2001, SM79 ... no Fiat AFAIK  :).
