Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

Sick kinda funny.

I smiled.

Speaking of "classic" SNL here is one of my favorite commercials.

My GF always records it and watches it before going to work Sunday morning. That one she saved and showed to me a few days later, knowing I'd get a kick out of it. Oddly enough, my reaction was essentially the same as the guest stars.

I'm still looking for the recent 'Ham and Bubbly' one to get uploaded, that was another one that was funny for its sheer oddness.

Wow, I guess my sense of humor is lots different.  Didn't even crack a smile.  SNL sure ain't the same as it was back in the 80's when I was watching it.  To each their own, I guess.

I've actually been told off by people when I tell them the cast members from earlier years are FAR better than the people on there now (I personally grew up on reruns of the 90s-era on Comedy Central).

People just don't know what REAL funny is, anymore. If it's not gross-out or outrageous Borat-style humor, or morons nearly killing themselves with stupid stunts it's just not good to kids today. I personally think Will Ferrell is just plain obnoxious and would take one Bill Murray, or Dan Akroyd, or Kevin Nealon over the entire CAST of SNL today.

This is one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. You don't get funny like this anymore, and that's a shame:

Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Eh, I can appreciate the comedy from many years ago and can appreciate comedy today.  But I do agree that SNL has lost a lot in the last decade.

I think SNL is on the comeback trail. The few couple of seasons are a vast improvement over the previous 10 years or so. Tina Fey was great as head writer. She's the reason 30 Rock is so good. I particularly liked her "Sarah Palin Channel" skit last night. That was greatness.

Having said that, SNL in no way stands up to the original Not ready for Prime Time Players.  :old:

It's actually gotten to be pretty funny again over the past year or two.  Best it has been since the 90s for sure.

SNL goes in cycles. For a few years it's not very funny till they hit on the right group then they take off till everyone goes off and do other things. Then it starts over till the next group.
