Air University research papers contains some great pdf's like:
A Unit History Of The 496Th Fighter Training Group, 1943-1945 and WWII War Production--Why Were the B-17 and B-24 Produced in Parallel? and Physiological Problems of Bomber Crews in the Eighth Air Force During WWII and many many more. Worth to check.
