I feel like I'm getting alittle better but I'm no Dr7 or a few others  :aok When I first started I guess I went 20 sorties without a kill.  It was very frustrating and now I'm enjoying it a lot better but I still die more then I kill.  Learning to become more patient I believe is my main key but also knowing a good hiding place I haven't figured out yet.  Tell any tanking stories you have or give me tips :) I look forward to reading you guys posts  :salute

My tanking story is as follows:

Hm i think ill get into a tank and attack that base.
20 minutes later i arrive and set up shop.
Another 10 minutes later i still havent hit anything.
10.2 minutes later i hear a engine start.
Hmm lets look BOOOOM killed by______.
!@#$%% why do i even bother getting in these things.

I don't last that long doomed. Usually get killed by one shot before I ever see anyone. When I do see another tank I keep hitting hit and hitting it. Then the bad guy spots me I see his turret turn he fires and poof I'm dead from one shot.

Practice makes perfect.  While tactics do come into play being a good shot is the most important by far.  Oh, and ground vis mode helps too.

My favourite is the M8 - just drive round at 50mph, and I've found that if you hit anything with enough rounds, it blows up.
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

Yes, few things are need to know when gving.

1. Learn to adjust the sights
2. Sheep own you
3. Learn range
4. Watch for bomb****s.
5. Minor shrubs don't hide you. Yet they can flip your tank. :t :cry

with a k/d of under 1 I'm not much on camping just trying to learn the aim and such right now BP getting owned right now as we call it.  Practice is key to success so I'm getting my fair share of practicing and dieing and trying again  :aok

heres a key for ya

Go to sound options. turn down your engine and tread. your able to hear the enemy tanks. if your rolling and start hearing one, he is 800 yards away. If your rolling and kill engine, hear one then still hear him after your engine is back on, he is 1.3 K away. Test it and see. theres ya a gamey GV tip
