Those were polytheistic(more then one god) religions where they had a diety for just about every facet of their life. The Native Americans also believed in multiple dieties. Hope this helps alittle..

Yeah, I think that would be true yes.. Its about belief, if you believe in that, go for it.. Can we BBQ the cow after you sacrifice it?
