Indeed. Haven't heard too much since this was implemented. I think they're busy putting out fires. I just hope they keep it on TOP of their to-do list!

Its been my experience that HTC tends not to go back.
Unless there is definite proof that the last change they made was a mistake.

I'm not sure if you can truly say that about the strat change or not.

I prefer it as is.  However, why not add some other fun targets sprinkled here and there?  Bridges, trains, depots, factories, my ex-wifes house, etc.  Something worth blowing up or fighting over, that does not involve 30,000 feet and frame-freezing amounts of aircraft to have some fun.

After what we have, going back to 1-mile-square factories in the middle of nowhere doesn't cut it for me.

I'd rather see better implementation of what we have, more of it, easier to get to. Take the city out of the center or what have you, but spread these mini-mega-strats around and they supply zone bases.
what if taken further to set up actual large cities with factories of different sorts inside these cities to make them more realistic... strategic bombing of cities to destroy factories or carpet bomb the large city like it was Bremen... I'd love to take 5-15 flights of B17s over a large city nearby an airfield to bomb the factory district INSIDE the city when 10 109s up to kill us

Edit: there's one TT i like in the MAs (actually in a map i havent seen in a LONG time. the one with the small circle of islands with the 3 way TT FT in the center with only 6 bases?) that could be easily set up as a city... and what if also we have GV battles to control these cities like they were airbases? if the bish control a nit city ALL of the effects of said mega city with factories included cannot assist the nit war effort anymore and would be used by the bish... or if controlled by the nits behind the frontline the bish bomb it to crapland and stops the effects to help the nit effort...   Its a big idea but it seems easily incorporated into the game using already used models and sounds like it could be ALOT of fun! the epic GV battles could return and with the introduction of the new M4A3 we could have major battles inside the city... Picture being a PnzrIV sitting in a factory district and seeing 600 rockets flying over your head exploding behind you... then seeing an enemy tiger rolling through town and being able to flank it and destroy it...

I would like to see a second set of strat targets added closer to the front lines. Leaving the rear strats as the main supply factories. Let's say rear supplies 75 and forward 25 percent.

Since this topic has been renewed, I thought should put in that I noticed that the strats now can move back to
the front once the home country regains control of their zone bases. Before I thought that once the strats retreated to the rear they would stay there no matter what. This issue might have already come up but I've only noticed it recently.

Although I must agree the new strat cities are a tough pill to swallow

I liked the old system, I also understand it is hard to go back, I sure wish there was some kind of compromise !
less stuff to do  I.E. milking or resupplying strats= less to do= less fun=  less players!   just my opinion.
I do miss both hitting the strats, and resupplying them, sometimes I want to do something other than fight and or take bases!
The spawns to nowhere are also a little useless, maybe a new type of target to go there.

I Like the new Strat system, but I would like to see other things nearer the front. Maybe like a depot area. Which would affect for 45 mins the bases it supports. Kinda like the old strat system, but it would be of a depot type of area. Maybe large whare houses, with 5" manable guns, and
HEAVY[/size] flack/ack.

HiTech if you read this thread please let us know if your still working on the strat system. In the last post you stated you were, but now, we have a new version and WWI, so know Idea where this lies in the priority list.

Thanx

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

I think the one biggest thing I would like changed is that each country has it's own strat zone.  If you take a base on the enemies main land then you need to resup it.     As things are now it's near impossible to pork any base and keep it porked for any decent amount of time and once you get pushed into a corner it's even harder to get out to pork the necessary mega strat to up said time.

In war one of the big reasons for failure was the inability to maintain supply lines as forces pushed into enemy terrain.  As things stand now each country has a near invulnerable supply line that follows them into enemy territory that makes it near impossible to slow the enemy advance.
Bringing peace to the MA's 1 explody thingy at a time! :)

  And the best quote EVERRRRR!!!
