The Hustler is a odd airplane.  A nuclear bomber, but the bomb is part of the centerline droptank.  They burn that fuel on the way to Russia, drop the empty tank and bomb, then come home on their internal fuel.

Radar guided tail guns too, operated by the third crewman.

Not to be picking on you sturm...But the F-100 was the Super Sabre, The F-101 was the Voodoo, and I do beleive that the Voodoo and the Thud shared the same runways in Vietnam,...But I think the Voodoo's role by then was primarily recconisance...

If your talking about the F100 Super Sabre then yes, the F100 was replaced by the F105

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

B-36 had a payload of 86,000lbs.  Its defensive armament consisted of 16 20mm cannon and its top speed was well over 400mph.

The next time you visit your local video store, ask for a copy of Strategic Air Command, starring Jimmy Stewart (a real B-24 bomber pilot and Brig. General. You will see the B-36 and B-47 in full color with all the wonderful sound that go with them. Terrific movie.

Heck the B-29's max sustained cruise speed was 327mph!

Didn't the B-36 have some 37mm cannons on it as well?
