I got into flight sim/games by accident, I was looking for a tank game and found armoured assault which is part of warbirds ( I find it ironic now that I hate gving and I'm crap at it.) and didn't hear anything about aces high for about another six months and then it was slanderous. Its a wonder I made it here but I did, I was simply completely ignorant to the fact that it existed.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

I suppose it is because no one is actually getting hold of AH2 in the mainstream.

I found ah2 from the history channel commercials.

Ah2 is great but im not sure they could handle 10,000 players

I think the reason they dont get in the main stream is because its a small company. Its a matter of keeping within thier limits.

IF they did get some seed money to go big time it would mean a very different game.

Perhaps they just want to keep it profitable but small

Same here. I had never heard of it previously, and since the commercial I saw aired over a year ago I haven't heard or seen anything about AH since, outside of this website.

Imagine what TardTastic Tuesday would be like with 3600 people on at once. The Claim Humpers would be bigger than the Chinese Red Army. The DA would be even more chaotic. And where would they put all the extra players when LWO is capped at 150 players??

I suspect HTC is keeping the game on the down low for this very reason. In a  lot of cases big doesn't always make better.
I found this game by goggling flight sims and just happened to get lucky and stumbled onto AH2.

How do you use goggles to find a flight sim?  :P

Last sim standing will prob absorb the other flight sim player bases, then AH will get more recognition. At the minute its looking like ah and ww2online but ww2online isn't really a flight sim.

i don't know il-2 has already ported to the game boxes hasn't it? that may give it the inside track

10,000 players would be a problem, but i am sure it would be a good problem to have as problems go.

I doesn't.  I was looking for over a year to find a flight sim (before I started in AH).  AH never came up in any searches back in 2003.  The only way I found out was word of mouth and the guy had to write down the URL for the site.

That's weird. I found it by Google-ing "wwii flight simulator" back on whatever the date in my signature is. :D

I like the way HT rolls.

I assume he's not your typical CEO type with it all being about profit...  He and Skuzzy like their cozy hours with trips to starbucks a couple times a day.  They don't wanna have to buy for FNGs that were hired to handle the surge...

No....I'd really like to make millions of dollars.  If you have 10,000 friends looking for a flight sim, please send them our way.  ;)
