Nah, they didn't.  The radio room gun was removed and the radio man took over one of the waist guns.  It allowed them to cut the crew down to 9.  Did the G start out with a radio room gun?  Sure, but it wasn't found to be worth the extra weight.

It wasn't useful anyways. It was never a "turret" -- just a single flexible gun mount. Our model with the late-style Cheyenne tail probably never had the radio room gun, so for what we have it's accurate.

I've always thought that too! So you know what I do to make eveything more real? I just slip a clear plastic, 5 gallon bucket over my head when I talk on vox. I sounds really cool too  :aok
