Looks nice but I wonder if it would realistically break like that. I'm assuming cockpit glass would be something similar to to a cars windshield and it would spider out(so to speak) more then just break like that. I could also be very wrong.

now i do love some of the graphics in SoW  but some broken glass isn't what will attract me to a new game.  I can go out on a friday night and see as many broken beer bottles as i like. 

I'm thinking does the view system match Aces High.  The flight model is it mushy and bouncy or smooth?.   The ballistics of the guns and the viewing distances.

GAMEPLAY people.

true dat bruv. realism trumps arcade for me anyday.
i just posted the screenys to show how much more graphics *could* be better with AH.
sure have gone a long way since last major update but theres still room to grow.

I highly doubt they would used laminated glass for something like that.

bullet proof glass, yes. That was laminated to stop bullets if I recall. The rest wasn't glass at all. It was persepex or whatever. Plastics, I think.

Well usually only the forward most pane was armor glass :)

Having seen broken plexiglass before... That doesn't seem unlikely even if it wasn't real glass.

Also rear glass panels on a number of planes, but rarely the rest.
