more german tanks
« on: April 25, 2010, 05:29:43 PM »
king tiger or other panzers please.

It seems the panzer 4 just doesnt cut it anymore as it seems to get 1 shotted from most every angle. I do use the t-34 mostly now when i need a free ride, but i would like to see more german tanks though.

or would any other "free" german rides all be downgrades with less armor?

they have to to balence out the new tanks... new lower class tanks means they need to fix the firefly perk ratio

The Firefly is a UK tank.  The Comet would make a good purely British perk tank though.

Japanese tanks would be free kills and only the best of their tanks that saw action would have a hope of killing one of the tanks in the game now.  From point blank.  In the ass.

Finland mostly used captured tanks and had no domestically produced tanks.

Oddly enough, French tank development during WWII stopped in 1940, thus leaving the French without any tanks that would match up to the tanks in AH.  We need French fighters before we need French tanks anyways.

You trying to say French fighters would be a match up to the fighters we have in AH? Maybe the D.520 since the Luftwaffe thought it was such a good aircraft they continued production after the armistice with France was signed.

This little French number was considered a good front line tank until it met with the Panzer IV:

Char B1 bis
Machinery One gasoline engine rated at 307hp
Suspension Bogies with a mix of vertical coil and leaf springs
Armament 1x47mm L/32 SA 35 gun (62-72 rounds), 1x75mm ABS 1929 SA 35 gun (74 rounds), 2x7.5 mm Châtellerault M 1931 machine guns
Armor 55mm sides, 60mm front
Crew 4
Length 6.37 m
Width 2.46 m
Height 2.79 m
Weight 31.0 t
Speed 20 km/h
Range 180 km

No, I am saying this is a flight game first and foremost and thus French aircraft have a higher priority.

Yas, I know of the Char 1 bis, it would be hopelessly outclassed by any tank now in AH.

(Image removed from quote.)
60 perks? try 80-100 and MANY GVers have thousands of perks lined up...imagine the horror when 7 TigerIIs roll into a VBase killing TigerIs and VC Fireflies while only having pings off the armor? along with that only a 1000lber could kill a King Tiger in this game if in aircraft... guns wouldnt penetrate the armor. 40mil maybe.

The only german tanks that I can think that can be included is King Tiger, Jagdpanzar, and Panther :headscratch:
