I know the mission was posted on a bbs forum. But the target and takeof base was not! I also know that historically spies existed but have a little class!
I wouldn't worry about it. In such a kind of missions, "spies" can't do much harm at all, if any.
When it's a quick basegrab, information like plane composition, target & start base can be very critical, especially if its a NOE mission.
In such a 90 minute strat bombing mission not.
A massive big darbar gives the takeoff base away early enough. Observe the darbar moving for a sector, and you know pretty much what it's all about as well as what the missions most likely target area will be, with ample time for any potential defenders to make their choice and get into position.
Last night, I was waiting for this mission (at 3 am local time, *yawn*). I went afk for 20 minutes, and when i came back I noticed that full sector darbar over your own port, a few sectors away from any battle. To make sure, I waited until I could roughly determine the missions current heading by observing the darbar in this and the adjacent sectors.
So I knew you guys are all there, heading SE (most probably towards our factories), moving very slowly (= buffs climbing). A spy could hardly have had provided me more valuable information at that point. You don't need to ne a rocket scientist to figure out the rest.

And so I met the mission halfway towards it's target (at 35k) and started to shadow you for about 3 sectors, constantly giving updates on position, alt, heading, force composition.
I remember once being "called out" for using spies or a secondary account when I amazingly "found" a mission of 10+ formations of bombers at 25k. They claimed I never could have told from darbar where they are, or what direction they were heading to
