In combat ur blood pressure goes waaaaay up so ur G tolerance goes up accordingly. and the G suit only helps @ 1 G (ONE G)... USAF stats.. those comments on the G suit were done under benighn test condittions where ur life wasn't at stake no adrenalin etc. I used to play with GREYOUT at 6.5 G's in T-38 at the bottom and beginning of a loop. I would allow myself to Greyout untlil the tunnle was about half way, the tighten my legs and abdomen and pooof Greyout GONE at 6.5 G's. Now most of my fellow UPT pilots couldn't do this except for one BIG Texan and myself. There are guys out there that can pulll the imfamous "Elephant award 15 G's". The G model here is far to restrictive. Ref. Eagle's comments w his Granfather. Pyro, sorry but ur wrong, some guys LUV G's and it don't hurt if ur mildly in shape, other guys bruise easy. 9 G's usually does hurt a little if u do it all the time, actually the best G pullers were slightly overweight, no AEROBIC exercise, just weight training.
