You see Rip, when you get famous and WIN 2 SUPER BOWLS and a get 107 Million Dollar Contract from one of the most prestigious franchises in the NFL, ladies try and target you for your money.

Hate on, Rip, Hate on.  :neener:

It's no longer "prestigious".   Frankly, I'd be embarrassed to be that criminal's teammate.

No criminal charges have ever been filed my friends. And no, I don't believe rich athletes have the right to do whatever they want.

The Steelers and there ownership have shown in the past that they will not tolerate this sort of behavior and the 10 or so games that Ben will play this year will be the most critical of his career. I can list a few other Steeler names that were excused because of there poor behavior off the field. But unlike some organizations, the Steelers usually show that player the door like Santonio.

I don't condone his behavior, neither do the Steelers or the NFL obviously, but the stories in both incidents don't ad up and both organizations have to play the high road do to public opinion because of people who hate Ben and the Steelers. I say it would be a pretty safe bet that Ben will not be a Steeler in 2011-2012.

(i'm IN Pittsburgh btw...)

Most Steelers fan want Ben gone.

I was surprised he didn't get traded for a couple draft picks last week.
