should have an old-school look to them.

I've seen a number of similar effects like this, that take screenshots and run them through filters. Mind if I ask what you did? I don't really edit pics like this much. I spent maybe 20 seconds one idly trying to see what tools had that effect on a screenshot but gave up because it just wasn't my schtick. I am curious, though: What combination of bright, contrast, saturation, etc, was applied to bring out the little things like the rivets and such?

Hmm, I like this one! Except for the AcesHigh text though. Too flashy and simple... does not blend with the rest of the great picture. I think you could still do an original title without using the official AH text logo though.
