« on: April 29, 2010, 07:25:10 AM »
Anyone wanna see 18 different WWII planes all in formation for a flyby? :x
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tj07ITv_tTw&feature=related
saw 2 F4Us, i think 5 P51s, spitfires, hurricanes, what looked like an F4F and maybe an F6F and i think a P40 also... and to tail the form off it looked like a nice P39 :aok

I am just awed by the sheer number of drama queens in this thread.  The, "OMG, save the chillen" to the "Let's see what I can find to really shock them" to the "I am a numpty and should have ignored this thread" types are simply overwhelming any possibility of have a sane discussion.

There are days you guys make me feel like Oprah mixed with Ellen.  It's just mind-boggling.  The numpty factor went ballistic in this thread.

Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

Was a Duxford on the Flying legends AND the BoB anniversary in 2000. Completely breathtaking. Should be some show this summer because of the 70th BoB anniversary, - come to think of it.
For those of you from the USA, is is worth the trip.
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)
