I'm sure we will one day have an Iconless HA for us hardcore addicts with 1gigahertz cpus voodoo5's and 21 inch monitors to run it at 1600x1200 etc.

would be cool to be disable ammunition counters on the american/british/russian and italian planes that did not have the ammo counters, then we would never dare spray and pray even in an f4u

after all nothing makes you stingy with ammo like not knowing how much you have left

I believe all german planes had "tape" ammo counters so I would say leave the 109/190 counters enabled.

basically a CM option where all aircraft that did not have ammo counters in real life can be switched on or off.

but like I said... a long time from now in a terrain far away... just add to list of cool stuff to do someday.
Fester was my in game name until September 2013

Yeah, really wondered why they have ammo counters in the aircraft. IIRC, even EAW is historically correct with regards to this.

Another shocking example of someone with a good idea.
P.S. Cit, that's the best description of Fla.

I support the idea.

However, I think someone from HTC replied to me once that it is here for gameplay purpose.
So I believe we won't see this for quite a long time.

Same thing with flap indicators. And auto trim feature. And in-flight adjustable trim tabs on planes which did not have them.

Let's just start with icons first.

Then historical cockpits with historical instruments and indicators. Pretty tired of feet and yards, to be honest

While I am not against this idea, hell I rarely use 25% of my ammunition in the Pony, I agree with Hristo that its purely a gameplay concession.

New Guys just have way too much to learn and worry about without things like this.

Of course it would be nice for scenario's and such.

Yes. A host setting that would zero out or disable the persons ammo counter on thier FE.
