It does, but you need to make sure to map it when you set it up.  Works great for whipping the P38 around in a hurry.  :x

That was EXACTLY my intent... 90% of the reason I wanted it  :rock cause I love the 38 but that fat pig needs a little grace and throttle work to make her dance.... Only thing I dont like is the lack of MFD

No it doesn't.  Using a duel throttle in a P-38 doesn't really give you any significant advantage over someone not using one.  However, it does make for nice clean hammerheads and helpful in recovering from certain types of spins and increases the immersion factor but that's really all it does.

I have to agree with Ackack, widewing and I have tested that myth pretty seriously a couple of times in the past.

If you throttle it back more than about 25% on the inboard engine you lose more from loss of energy than you gain in turn rate.

Yep, I was disappointed by the small effect that chopping 1 throttle had on my yaw rate.  Figured it would have more effect, but how am I really to tell if that is right or wrong, I can't..  After all, I've never flown a real A20, (or whatever) so how am I supposed to know..  Ah whatever, who cares, I like the dual throttles and prop controls anyway!

Also, if you're into cross-country taxiing, dual throttles become invaluable  ;)
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
