The American one is a PR.Mk XVI, note the two stage Merlins.

No can do.  It was an unarmed photo-recon Mossie.  Even if they add the B.M XVI it wouldn't be appropriate.

Here's a hint... If it's got a white roundel with a blue star of David in it, it's Israeli. Post war. Israel didn't exist until after WW2, just FYI.

I think he was suggesting that W4050, the Mosquito prototype he posted a photo of on the prior page, was in those colors.....

Do all skins have to be from the Mk VI?  These all are FB Mk VI

107 Sqn, RAF

143 Sqn, Banff Strike Wing, RAF, NE-A

143 Sqn, Banff Strike Wing, RAF, NE-L

1st Bomber Squadron, RAAF

1672 CU, RAF, India, 1944

45 Sqn, RAF, India, January 1945.

The "143 Sqn, Banff Strike Wing, RAF, NE-L" and White-3 of "1672 CU, RAF, India, 1944" look real great!

I've decided to skin 143 squadron's "NE-A" as I have some really good photos of it.

Jumpin' Catfish!!!

I look away for a bit and someone pulls a new Mossie out of thin air! And did I hear something about a new Tempest model too?

I respectfully call dibs on a 418 RCAF skin for the new Mossie (edit: as long as Kev367th doesn't want to redo his existing 418 skin for the new model). Be still my beating Canuck heart... and although there wasn't an RCAF Tempest squadron, a few Canadians did fly them with the RAF... off to ye olde reference material bookshelf...
