You can NOT legislate morals. You can encourage them, you can teach them, but you can't make a law that makes everyone behave in a moral ethical manner.

Same is true for game play. You can't change one facet of game play without it effecting all others.
Anything that limits or prevents people from flying where they want to fly is to go over like a lead balloon.

It won't fly. That dog don't hunt.

Trying to make it so is an exercise in futility.

I tried the late war arena for the first time last night, and managed to get shot down three times while en route to the nearest Knight field.  :frown:

This doesn't promote a fight and it promotes base rolling.

Somewhat off-topic: I entered the arena as a Bishop, and tried to raise fellow Bishops via radio #2 then voice within range. Is there a voice channel for the sides within the late war arenas?

There is no such thing as a countrywide voice channel.

The radios work exactly the same in every arena...except channel 1 (ALL) is disabled is some arenas.  Perhaps they were busy fighting or just ignoring you.

Perhaps you got put on the global perma-squelch list by someone and nobody can hear you.   ;)

A country-wide voice channel would be overwhelming due to numbers, so what you get is your range VOX and a tunable VOX channel.  The tunable channel allows you to talk to anybody in that channel, you can also enter a players name into the channel to talk to that player specifically.  Please don't abuse the last option though and please report anybody who abuses it to you, if it happens.

It'd be funny if you reported yourself.
