well a 37mm gun wont match up against anything except maybe an M8 in the MA, and most scenarios after 1943 wont feature it. the stewart got most of its use in the africa campaign and some limited use in italy.
Yes, It was used a lot in the africa campaign. I drive the M8 every day that 37mm can take out about any tank in the game except a Tiger and a T34/76.

so the if it had the same following as the M8, except it was slower, and bigger target.

I stand by my previous statement, just what we need is another hanger queen.
I typically use an M8 as running bait so friendly tanks can kill enemy tanks...with the reload time on the 37mm being so fast and being in high gear doing a running assault, I can get 5 to 8 shots into a tank and at least kill the engine or track it before I get killed...that is if one of the friendlies doesn't knock it out while I have it distracted. The big downside to the M8 is the tires can be knocked out easily...an M5A1 would be less susceptible to track damage from machine guns...

I could see some Leroy Jenkins type of uses for it...no more of a hangar queen than the M8 is.

i can run kill streaks in M8s ranging from 6-10 kills. Its all about the maneuvers, tactics, and terrain maneuverability. The necessity of shooting out the enemy turrets is top on priority, followed by one shot to the drivers area. 3 shots and it will destroy any tank other than the Tiger. Flanking maneuvers is also almost a near necessity... learn to use these tactics and remember/utilize the terrain to your advantage and you can do the same thing.

Sounds good, but I don't think so, with those we have 4 US tanks (1 with british gun), so we need more german, british tanks even an URSS tank hunter.

I like it but we need other tanks before this one.

I would agree except that it's not a tank...it's self propelled artillery...doesn't aim or shoot the same as a tank.

It may look like the M109, but it's a tank destroyer.

A self-propelled anti-tank gun, or heay tank destroyer yep is it but just think what u can do with that gun, sure doesn't aim or shoot the same as a tank but u can use it to the defence of fields, or something more nice:

SU-85

Type:               Tank destroyer
Place of origin:   Soviet Union
Weight:             29.6 tonnes (65,256 lbs)
Length:             8.15 m (27 ft) overall
                       6.10 m (20 ft) hull only
Width:              3.00 m (9.84 ft)
Height:             2.45 m (8 ft)
Crew:               4 (commander, driver, gunner, loader)
Armor:              45 mm(1.77 in)
Armament:        85 mm (3.34 in) D-5T gun
Engine:             V-2 12-cylinder diesel
                       503 hp (375 kW)
Power/weight:   17 hp/tonne (12.7 kW/tonne)
range:              400 km (248 mi) (road)
Speed:             55 km/h (34 mph) (road)

I really love this one, I hope we can have it some day.  :pray

A "hanger queen" neither will be.  The 75mm HE will do more dmg than all but the Tiger, and with a reload time like the Pzr IV I see it being used quite a bit to level towns, etc.  Where we will see it used quite a bit is the scenario events.   :aok

oh... and with a name like "tupac" how do you expect anyone to take you seriously???   ;)   :lol

You can kill a tiger with the m8. You should aim where the turret connects to the hull, to the slight left of the mantlet.

light tank would be nice, what about the Lee and Grant tanks for the early war arenas since they were early ww2 tanks ?

I was actually wondering where they were. I think they're parked next to the HE-111.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.
