Ping shooter

I think if a friendly kill shoots themselves on you you should be awarded the kill just as an extra bit of puinishment for the guy and as a reward for having tracers flying over your shoulder.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

That's sort of how it works in SEA (FSO)  I have squaddies that get the Kill Award for wabbit every FSO.   :x

I know it's not your intention, but it seems like it'd make the whole "use a second account to score-potato" thing a whole lot easier.

You probably don't want to give people kills by having them cut in front of you.

Great idea!

Not only that I can people piss off by popping into their stream from underneath or flying simply through them from behind - I will also get rewarded for it!  :x

Our squad has got a special award for those who shoot down squad mates in FSO.

The "Nipping Nifty" is fondly named after nifty who seemed to have a real talent for it.

Most of us have gotten it at some point or another.

The worst one though was a frame where we were attacking enemy fleet with B25's. The CO daddog dropped his bombs and they landed on a squadmate flying under him instead of the carrier.

Poor Daddog got the nifty and didn't get the carrier kill!  :)

I understand the point of Kill Shooter but think it needs to be revised a bit.  How about if its doesnt count as a death if you kill shoot yourself?  Just puts you back in the tower?  Or turn kill shooter off but if you were to kill a friendly that player does not get a death registered they just go back to the tower and you do not get the kill?  Or can it bet set so that friendly fire doesnt have any affect at all?

Discipline.  Situational awareness.

Don't shoot at or through friendly planes.

How about no ammo for you for 24 hours unless you switch sides if you insist on shooting through friendly aircraft.

It can make you feel like a heel in a tank shooting at a GV and not seeing the icon in the trees, but looking thru tank gun sight looking for a spawn camper makes it easy to not see any icon.  Have done it many times myself. I changed the friendly icon color from green to white for better visibility in dense trees and haven't shot another friendly since.

Another trick is to shoot a few MG rounds at the suspect first. If you hear bullets plinking your own armor, you better not pull the trigger for the main gun...
