A little confused

  OK Im a little confused, I took a look at my MA LW ranking earlier today.

Fighter rank.......:879
Bomber rank......:1358
Attack rank.......:1263
Vehicle/Boat rank:1612
Total combined score:1760

It would appear that all of my scores are well below the TCS of 1760. What am I missing here.
(score before last check with same numbers actually went up by 52 points)

Any expaination would be greatly appreciated.

I'll tell you this much friend.......  The scoring system is crazy.  

But keep in mind, because there are 4 different categories, it is possible that 1759 people have better scores than you through the combined rank simply for upping each category..  

You have not up'd a gv this tour.  I know this because of your rank.  Many people have that rank.  That number 1612, reflects that only 1611 people have up'd a gv.  You, and 3000 other people have that 1612 rank.  

And no Attack sorties either. 

Up something in each category and check it again tomorrow.  No matter what happens in your sorties, I'll guarantee your ranks will drop.

Thanks LLogan I didnt even take that into consideration. I will up a GV and and make an Attack sortie, when i next log. I appreciate the help

Cohofly, it's very simple. All your individual ranks are added together. Then this number us compared to every other player's total. Smallest sum wins. The result is your final rank.

This was happy until 2 updates ago, by letting troops run, ending sortie and upping an attacker while troops still ran.
While the "attack" capture thus gained  was purged from a pilots individual score the next day, it stayed for squad score & rank.

But this is not possible anymore.

Yup Im a salmon fisherman, hence the name Cohofly, I live on Vancouver Island BC Canada, and have been fortunate enough to have fished for salmon in some pretty remote places. Its good to see some west coasters here at AH.
