Not trying to necro a thread, but I just happened across this post with ghastly's link and read a bunch of it, and was very moved by it. Lately I've been frustrated with my lack of improvement in AH (in fact, I feel like I'm much worse now than a few weeks ago), but reading this has given me a new perspective. Thanks for posting that link, Ghastly!
Man, I know that feeling all too well. In my experience however, those slump phases like that, even when they last a month or two, usually result in some improvement once it's all said and done. You're sort of on a plateau right now. When you hit that lifting weights, you try some different lifts of lift in different ways. Shake your system up and off that plateau, and you start getting stronger again. Growing. What you might try to do is try a different plane for a while, just a couple of nights even maybe, you'll find that it will point some things out to you about how you fly your normal ride. It almost always does me. Try flying in duels with some people better than you, you'll find something to change in just a few fights. All those little things can really add up to a big time slump breaker, and will translate to better fights and more kills. Don't ignore the slump man, delve into it.
Once again, also, I love to read that Scav stuff. He was before my time but when I first read that stuff years ago, he inspired me. To this day, he still does, and that's remarkable in my book.
