hit friends damages re-thought

When We hit some friendly plane, then we get damages too.
I should prefer that both planes have damages.
Perhaps a better solution is to disable attacker guns for n-minutes
without damages for anybody.

Not a fan in the least of both parties taking damage. If some bozo friendly wants to spray at me for no reason, I don't want to suffer. If that was the case I would have to worry about Green targets more then Red ones.

Your second idea though is interesting, a gun lock for a certain amount of time as a penalty for shooting a friendly. I like it, it's a bit a more user-friendly. Not sure how well it'll pan out though, your gonna get a lot of responses saying how you need to be more aware of the 500mph friendly who just flew through your bullet stream to try for an easy kill on your set. Although I'm all for SA, sometimes it can be out of your hands.

P.S. This should probably be in the Wishlist forums, I'm sure Skuzzy will get around to it.

A single aircraft needs to be taken out, and for the enemy to know it has been taken out, when friendly fire happens.  A disarmed aircraft can still act as bait or pull in behind and force evasives, either of which alters the balance of the combat.  Taking out both aircraft is also a problem as only one should go down to friendly fire, or once again the balance is altered improperly.

I don't think lulu realizes the friendly fire thing doesn't damage the plane that is hit with friendly fire...only the dweezle that is firing at the friendly.

I don't much mind the guys who get in front of me...my gunnery sucks bad anyway and I can let off the trigger easily enough...it's the twits that start firing over my shoulder...throws me off when I see tracers going past the cockpit.

He understands, what he's asking for is both planes receive damage, not just the one with the pilot showing piss poor fire discipline.

I guess I'm a little more of a purest.

1. No Kill shooter. If you kill a friendly then the following:
    a. The pilot that commits fratricide looses 10 perk points.
    b. The pilot shot down gets any perk points the offender accumulated for the mission.

2.  Allow friendly collisions.  If you collide with a friendly aircraft use the same method used for collisions with enemy aircraft.

I disagree with your first idea, just because it would allow for FF, and some people wouldn't know/don't care about perk points.

However, about your second point - imagine what would happen when a bunch of people are spawning on the runway for a mission  ;)
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?

There would be a lot less of us landing. If it weren't for the fact that there are a lot of dweebs that just don't care about anything but stick stirring shoot anything moving look at my score...there could be some very interesting battles.

With both proposals havoc & chaos would break out. You would have to treat almost every friendly con as an enemy.
Every friendly that's flying around could be a n00b that suddenly shoots at ya or flies into you, because he can't control the plane yet. And even better, it would be wonderful for all the griefers. I can't stand you? No problem, I will gladly spend 10 perks to shoot you out of the sky unexpectedly when you are about to land your 5 kills. Even better when you are in a 262 at that time.

No KS simply doesn't work in an open free-for-all environment.

AW had the png if you killed two or more friendlies in a twenty four hour period I think it was. It did make you a little more cautious about pulling the trigger around friendlies. Kind of sucked when you accidentally blew the goon out of the sky though. :huh

In addition to the 2 friendly kills in 24 hours to get PNG status, each friendly kill after the 2nd tacked on an additional 24 hours.
