Think about it for a moment.......... Country, Room, Squad & Channel...... Those are my four, plus 200. (I pay 15 bucks a month for 200)

But if in a Mission, I'd really enjoy to have a Mission Text active. It currently resides with only newbs who haven't detuned it yet. But from a strategic standpoint it would make a big difference. ie.... Once mission starts, Country is no longer needed. (This is where somebody says "room" but many a time, a mission may be more complex than taking off from one base) Buffs and fighters for instance, or the goon in a capture mission... Maybe even 2 sets of fighters with a fuel disparity..... Oh and of course a combination gv & aircraft missions. Now the entire mission can read the same text without losing anything, or causing 30 extra lines per minute on Country.

When Trainers are in an arena, I would assume they have the Help Channel tuned. That means they would have to sacrifice one of their channels, probably Room Channel... But Room can be an important tool for comm. ei...... I took off 5 minutes ago and
Ghosth is upping buffs now and wants to know if it's safe to start climbing and go afk for a few minutes. ANd the fine Gent that he is, he uses room so as he'll get to the people that know... And, the color is seen fast and responded to fast. Room that is.

All seems to get a lot of play in the DA & WWI.... Maybe even AvA? And it seems that half the people use ALL and the other half still use 200..... I think that speaks for itself.

And sure, another argument might be "Well I'm sure in a mission that is
complex har har har, there is a member of the same squad in each group right? Maybe.... Maybe not. And I don't think there should be an emphasis on Squad when it comes to comms overall. Squads have a channel, cool, but why make it more difficult for 12 guys, not affiliated, to be able to comm in a semi-private manner? (not bothering the entire country per say) This is where somebody says.... "They'll do that anyway!" Some will, true, but others will learn. Fore we will make them!

I don't know how difficult it would be to do, but I know we've got another similar keystroke to use for it.

So what do you think, three cheers for a 6th Channel?
