What a wonderful silence! I absolutely love it, and I hope it will take HTC a looooong time to "fix" it  :rock

Gotta admit. I kinda enjoyed it myself too

I prefer to use Teamspeak because the voice quality is so much better. I usually have to turn the volume down on game voice because the range channel greatly interferes with flying. (mainly the automatic feature that lowers the game sounds....I fly by sound and varying the volume of the engine, wind and stall warning truly suck). It also sucks that I have to lose the tunable channel as well when I do that. Be nice to have two volume sliders for game voice.

Yup.  I remember ol' -sick- on the precipice of going to 200 in his kill streak (he was at 195 and we were heading to a furball), yuckin it up on public, only to be sawn in half by a P47 bounce.  MAN he was pissed, but in the same light, he had to admit "death by typing".

I flew for a couple of hours never noticing vox was out until someone mentioned it. Then I got aware of how comfortable it actually was to fly with no vox chatter constantly messing with my other game sounds. I really fly much better when I can listen to my engine, wind, flaps and surrounding planes engines and gunnery. It really makes the SA part alot easier I think.

And it is also good practice for SA, since you have to look more carefully after enemies when you don't have vox inputs on what enemy plane is where and doing what..

Also I thought the overall gamesounds were alot better, more crisp in a way than before. And I did not have any of the sound delay that others complained about.

I enjoyed last night without all the "squeeking"

But as an old man and bad typist, I'd like VOX back soon.

Ya know, I noticed this too.  I think it may just be the fact that we don't have a million voices clamoring in our ears, thus giving us something to listen to.  But still, a pleasant experience.  When I shut down my Mossie last night it triggered an audible "mmmmmmm"- I love the sound of those Merlins :)

I'm sick of "updates" and all the bugs and discos that come with them. That's right, I said it!
