I think the problem with the tiger is their getting to close. Reallly should be firing from 2k away. Most dont. I know I lose a tiger to that.
Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

Just managed to kill an M4 in one shot with the B-25's cannon...that's never happened to me before :D  (the spot was on the right hand side, almost at the very back of the armour)
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

ohh but im sorry to say this but when i get on a killstreak of 10 alone then im pretty sure it's still up there. Yes i know its not all the same.... gone are the days noobs and even some Vets would scream "tiger tank!!!" at a certain place..."sigh"    but a good tiger driver will be able to survive a huge onslaught and roll out alive still.
Spikes is right, the Tiger is not as feared as it once was. Using your one example of getting a decent kill streak in it doesn't effect its "fear" level.

I don't get why you even typed that, you know it's stupid.

Getting a 10 kill streak and using it as evidence as to the Tiger's greatness is kinda counter-intuitive. Back when the Tiger and the Panzer were the only two MBTs, a Tiger could easily erase a battlefield with 25+ kills so long as the driver was smart and the other side stayed unorganized.

It's true that a Tiger should be used at very long ranges. Its gun is now its main strength instead of its armor. Gone are the days it can be used as a plow; now its best bet is to sit on a hill in the back and snipe.

uhh...you DO know the tiger was a defensive weapon first and offensive 2nd? of course you would sit back and snipe. but it will still let you get rough and dirty if you need to if youre smart. i sat in a field with an open 100 degree view to my front and sniped tanks endlessly until another tiger killed me one day. about 15-20 kills

I have been waiting for this one.  Thought about it the first day that the sneak peeks were released.  When someone does waste a strafer with the rockets, please post pics.  It's sure to be an explosive event... :devil

In real life, perhaps (in the latter part of the war I assume? I've read about it leading advances when it was still "indestructible" early/mid-war), but in Aces High I it had no competitor. It was capable of rushing forward and wreaking havok by itself (so long as the driver was ready to sacrifice his perks in the lower chance he was killed or the greater chance that the friendlies didn't capture the field). Now that some of its natural predators are in the inventory, it's best to keep them back. Sort of like AH following the war timeline. :)
