I liked the explosion effects how they overlapped the people on the ground running for there lives (GODZIRA!) over a very detailed, miniature airfield and complex of some sort. Very nice work for the time.

That's what Rangoon will look like tonight. GROOD RUCK ALRIES!

The aerial footage is real...those bombers look like Ki-21s and G4Ms probably from some front line squadrons that did the films for propaganda...the bombing footage is some really nice editing work...makes you wonder if anyone had the brains to ask how a japanese camera crew happened to be standing in the middle of a bombing target and lived to bring the film back...some of the fighter action is obviously done on a stage.

Freaking Japanese bomb****s probably ruined the only good furball on the island.  And the ki-43s did nothing but pick!!!!! I saw only one Japanese plane damaged. Nice freaking damage model. Buncha bomb hacks and aimbots I bet.

That was stellar film footage.  The best footage I have seen of real dogfights.  I wish we could see all the footage they edited out that showed the P-40's and Brewsters shreading the bombers.

I liked the closeups of the Jap pilots in the planes that were rocking like the kiddie rides in front of the grocery stores.
