I stand corrected.

Well I like to fly the B-25 and as you all know its not very fast. As your advise might work on another aircraft (as far as speed) and I could climb up to a thousand feet before dropping, this is not how the B-25's were used. So maybe a parachute bomb as was used very often in the Pacific.

You must not be flying the same B-25s I have...start at ~500 feet full throttle, drop 2 eggs and nose up...

If you want more realistic, use the Mossie instead.

Come to the bomber  clinic rolex is hosting next week and I'll show you how to do it with 100 feet. And without having to use the bombsight!

I believe it's 800ft, the 1000ft is probably just a safety buffer, like how a lot of people tell everyone else to stay under 200ft on a NOE mission even though radar doesn't work till 500ft.

400ft I tested

Guncrasher what I can do is film it and post the film.

BTW rolex's last bombing clinic is out there if you search for it.

there were a lot of time delay fuses used in WWII and also para-frags. the time delay fusing would not be very useful unless used on towns by a mass of medium bombers. I have seen many films of "skip" bombing on both land and sea which is scary watching a bomb bounce up behind your b-25 to the same alt before it drops and explodes on the second ground hit

I always thought it was 100 feet, I've bombed a hanger from 150 feet and it went boom ... barely escaped with my rudder ...
