Russell will never win one million dollars from any jury.  He would be a brilliant player if "surviving" were the only objective.  However, getting votes from people you bested in game is what wins the million dollars.  Russell shets on people to survive in the game and people DO NOT LIKE getting shet on.  The fact that he didn't get that lesson from his first failure says a LOT about the guy.

Yes, but hes doing something right considering how far he made it in both seasons.  Also, as long as a Hero doesn't make it to final two, there shouldn't be a problem with Russell losing necessarily.  If a Hero gets to final two, the entire jury is Hero, so wont have a chance.

I watched it once, back in the first season when it was all the hype.

I felt totally ripped off, show has absolutely nothing to do with "surviving".

I've been through, and later taught survival skills and courses in the Utah desert.  Trust me, any idiot can survive quite comfortably in the circumstances they put them in, a nice tropical island with plenty of rain, vegetation, fish, fruit and shelter is a walk in the park as far as surviving.  They should throw them into something like the USAF or SAS survival school and see how they fare.   The show was actually just about a bunch of "look at me" attention seeking, drama queens.  I found watching it agonizing rather then entertaining or educational.  I doubt it's improved in the years since.

First two season's were alot about survival, after that they made it alot easier to win food and such ( i don't know if legalities made it change ) after the third season i started to lose interest, seems more scripted now

Heck, i did not realized they still do the show.  The first three or four season was hot then gone down hill as soon as other worthless reality shows start appearing.

Next season will be airing in the fall, Russell had some good points about the game. The game isnt flawed but the way they decide the winner sure is. Sandra didnt outplay or outwit or out last, as far as im concerned it becomes who has the biggest axe to grind at the end.  "Hey you outplayed me so your not getting the money." Never was there a less deserving winner IMO.  :frown:

Never watched an episode of it in my life. And frankly I find the whole thing disgusting. I ESPECIALLY hated the season they aired on Peleliu. They were using WAR WRECKAGE for set dressing. Good @$%&ing GOD do they not have any respect?
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

This show always has been so far from actual surviving it was never on my watch list...in fact I didn't know it was still coming on.

They should have an actual survival show where you go out in the same way that Man vs. Wild or Survivorman did/does. That would be a kick bellybutton show to watch.
