no way does russell deserve the million.  No way.  Sandra got it because the jury hated russell and resented parvati being so close to him.
Sandra fooled her way into it and got the money.   simple.  In my opinion Parvati deserved it but anytime you leave the decision to a jury you risk a bad decision.

saxman, don't be so naive.  more people learned about Peleliu from that one season of survivor than in the previous 3 decades put together irregardless of your perceived and generally worthless slight.  I could make an equall argument that what goes on in the LW arenas EVERY DAY is a disgrace to the memory of those who served and sacrificed.  I mean it would be a rediculous assertion to make, wouldn't it.  I wonder....

Whether Russell played dirty or not, you have to admit he is by far one of the most strategic players to ever be in survivor.  I mean he made it to final 3 two times in a row.

Oh, agreed completely.  If getting into the finals was what winning was all about Russell would have it hands down.  He reminds me of the words  ruthless and scrupulous.  The problem with Russell is he thinks one ought to be able to crap down peoples throats and then have their respect without question.  Life in a free society does not work that way.  My big disappointment with Russell is that he never adjusted his gameplay.  Its like he is single track.

  My wife and I watched the season Rupert was on. One season of watching scripted, "how devious can I be" episodes was enough for us.  Makes it sound like lying is a skill everyone should learn.

Amanda made it to the first 2 finals she played in...you would hardly call her a great strategic player. Russell was lucky because they had filmed this season before his season was shown on TV which meant no-one had the prior knowledge of his gameplay like everyone else. Boston Rob (who was a far better player this season than Russell) was done over by Jerri because of his past deeds...maybe the first time Russell tried his shenanagans again...people might've been more keyed into it

Russell forgets that he may be the King, but in the end its a democracy - and you will never be voted in if you spend the entire time crapping all over your electorate!
