speaking as someone who doesnt checkit enough rear view mirrors would be nice.

Ive read a lot of these threads before and it appears they may not be much practical use but they were part of the aircraft and somehow I dont think they look right without them.

Went to an airshow last week so a mirror on one of the spits.  women's compact has a bigger mirror totally useless in the game.

and TrackIR like wot I got,my point is if the actual plane had it we should have it,it was probably just as useless on the real aircraft as it would be in game.I dont even care if it doesnt actually work as a mirror I just dont think the planes look quite right without them thats all.

If they were modeled on, they wouldn't work, you would just have some texture pasted on it and it would look horrid, so why bother?

I think this is a trick, have a blind spot in the spits.  I think is just a backdoor way of slowly neutering the spits, since the perk the spits thread didnt work.  j/k.

tinribs the mirrors is just one of those things that are not really needed in the game, kinda like having guns jam or radio going out or get damaged by a bullet.

rear view mirrors were installed on many acft in WWII.....and sometimes they were useless......sometimes they saved a life and the view size depends on the proximity of yer head. mirrors on Harleys  are worthless because of vibration, but I can see though mine on my Honda past 80mph.

would be nice to have the periscope working on the AR234 as well

The general rule of thumb is if you can see a plane in the rear view mirror then you're already dead.

Secondly HiTech (IIRC) has stated that in order for rear view mirrors to work the game would have to be rendered twice. So if you're lagging badly now then just wait for the mirror.
