Alot of people, myself included, do not use the SST software because it causes major problems with the X52. Best advice is to set it up in game... and when you stick spazzes out, don't worry, just unplug it from the throttle, then plug it back in after 5-10 seconds. It will fix the calibration issue and if you're not dead, you can keep fighting!

Wow.. I find that to be very interesting, considering that I have my SST software configured quite extensively and have never had a single problem with my X52 in the 3+ years I've owned it.  How about some explanation as to how the SST software causes your X52 issues and maybe some examples as to where it causes issues for others?

Perhaps you aren't programming the commands properly?  I dunno.. I'm curious though

SST does that to my x52 as well.  Uninstalled the SST and everything works great.  It hardly ever loses calibration, and the rudder spiking is gone.

Same here, I stopped using SST too because of those problems.  There are one or two features from it I sort of miss, but nothing I can't get around.
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?

the ch software had a screen that that you could adjust the sensitivity of the stick.  the sliders, deadband etc
in the game itself dont seem to help much.  i know im heavy handed with the stick but its a flight controller and i cant see holding it like a teacup especially in the heat of combat. cant find any sensitivity adjustment in the
      sst software

If you look back at Ghosth's post, it shows all of those sliders and deadband tools which you should need, and they are in the game!

I don't have a curve on my x52, everything is set to max, that works best for me personally
Taking an enemy on the battlefield is like a hawk taking a bird. Even though it enters into the midst of a thousand of them, it gives no attention to any bird than the one it first marked.

Because it was crap. Broke quickly. Never had a similar experience with all my Saiteks. Ch ergonomics ain't stellar either. Just for the record, I would not be able to use CH pedals at all, the spacing is not wide enough for my long legs.
