+1 on that ideal.  Even try to push a FSO event on night time bombing over Germany but a lot of ppl do not support it.

If I wanted a challenge I'd be outside.  Not hitting trees is a priority and if I can't see them....

Not much use in night time when you can make it lighter by changing the gamma setting.

if we dont get night time, I would love a slight variation in weather, even if it was adjusted ever so slightly

to simulate night flying,  just close your eyes whilst looking at the screen.

Darkness will surround your plane and then you will have your wish   :rock

It didn't do anything other than be annoying.  Icon ranges were still 6000 yards, you just couldn't see unless you gamed it by messing with your gamma.  Night fighting in WWII was VERY different than day fighting and this game is not set up to simulate it, nor would it be entertaining for large numbers of people.

Night was horrid in the old days... people either logged off, went afk until it got lighter, or turned up the gamma. I know one guy that even made a macro to increase his gamma from within AH.

-1 for night time returning.

Do a search. HItech said there will be no more night time in the MA's. I think the last time this discussion came up it got so heated that someone got a "time out" for defending a ship that was on the bottom for a week.

Night time sucked. I seem to remember most folks waiting in the tower for the sun to come back out.
