Thank you BaldEagl  :aok.

I swear, I can count the number of people who care about being honorable on my left hand. Sometimes on bad days, I can count them on my thumbs.
NOE missions are by default, NOT honorable, and deserve no such respect. I used to bichh about the Bops a lot, but at least they have the cajones to stay above dar and dare people to meet the onslaught :aok (on their way to an otherwise empty base, of course :D)

NOE mega missions are so sad, they deserve to be called out. They usually are looking for an undefended base. If they cant capture that base in 5 minutes after they get there, they abandon the fight because people start to fight back. They regroup and launch another mission to another undefended base until they succeed. Ive seen this go on for hours some nights. Behavior like that demands getting called out. The "planned" horde ruins fights and arena balance.

I see someone post a completely ignorant post about the osti on the aces high wiki, Im not going to think hes a complete idiot in RL even if his post was completely idiotic

Ignorant? How exactly was it ignorant, JunkyII? Come on, give me examples, details. I find myself agreeing Relic.

And bj229r, an NOE raid takes advantage of a lack of preformance in the enemy's techology. Honestly, you sound like you think its only fair if they other side says "here I am, I'm gona let you up, and climb out to 10k, and pin us on the deck".

Really your going to judge a person by how they play a game

It's called "sportsmanship," Junky. It's obvious you're unfamiliar with the concept; read up on it sometime.

(And don't confuse it with play style, either.)

I rather imagine you are an bellybutton in real life too.
I like to think Junky, is Emilo Estavez. Hiking up some hill with his best buddy staring at his arse the whole time. OPPS, did I say that out loud. :uhoh  Walk away from the banjo  music walk away!  :D But seroiusly, judging someone on a video game. Isn't that  alittle 5 th grade? Honestly  I forget what occured or, frankly dont care what happened in game previous nights. Unless someone was a total tool. :neener:

NOE missions deserve to be called out. They really ruin the game imo.

If an NOE mission is spotted before hitting the target it was not planned or executed correctly.

The poster of this opinion has failed to study military history and tactics.  The element of surprise has been around far longer than the book "Art of War".

If you get taken by surprise then there is no one to blame but yourself.  Bases/towns BLINK.....tap-tap-tap......HELLOOOOOOOO.

Are people to be blamed for not sitting in the tower for extended periods, watching the map? It's still a surprise. It takes about 2 minutes between town starts to flash and the attackers being all over it. How many players are able to react and up in that small time frame? You basically have to sit in the tower scanning the map when the town starts to flash. But actually most players a playing  at any given time = they are in a sortie. And if it's one of those 15+ players mega NOE it's almost impossible to muster any defense in time.

(And no, I'm not for removing NOE from game ;) )

I wonder what our little Junky11 friend would have done in the days when if you announced bingo fuel or ammo your opponent would allow you to land.

I can be an bellybutton but most everyone is.
Well we dont agree on this then. I know Soldiers who used to be "gangsters" on the streets of the big cities selling drugs, but Im not going to judge his past, They are normally the better soldiers.

hey junky, it was fun watching you call the mission out but they do have points... yeah its a game but if you ruin other peoples fun in the process then whats the point? yeah, i admit i chuckled inside when i saw your message on 200 but i also knew you were being a hard headed nut for doing it and now youre trying to back up what you did by "its just a game". yeah its just a game but if you ruin peoples fun in the game then theres a reason for people to be mad

Whether he posted it on 200 or country channel, wouldn't that ruin the mission just as well?  Looks to me like he wanted them to know he knew about it, so really it doesn't matter.  It's more of an " I see you!" kind of thing I think!

I think it was his own country's mission from the way I read it being on 200 not sure.  If thats the case no one would see it on country on the other side.

People pay thier money to play the game. If doing NOE is what they do, to take take territory either moving forward or taking territory back . So be it, let them play thier game. As mentioned before the city will flash either being gv's or a NOE. Some people or squads , I guess, play to win the war. Great so be it.
Telling on one's own country men about a mission on 200 is another story.
It's not hard to start a fight and myself and others have done it. Go to another base, enemy of course and go start dropping bombs on it. Usually there will be uppers to protect the base and wala, the fight is started.

The problem is that they rarely stay empty. About the only time I'm able to use GV's around an airfield is when a giant furball is going on. Otherwise, within 2 mins of the base flashing, an A20 or an Il-2 ups and kills me (you CAN'T defend against high angle attacks).

You basically have to sit in the tower scanning the map when the town starts to flash. But actually most players a playing  at any given time = they are in a sortie. And if it's one of those 15+ players mega NOE it's almost impossible to muster any defense in time.

Not true lusche, once I spotted an NOE raid when I upped a set of lancs. When I saw them, I bailed, called them out, and upped an La-7. Only 3 people upped at the base, yet we killed all 11 aircraft within 3 mins.

11 would be a very mild NOE mission. I could care less if a squad wants to get together and roll some bases with 10-12 of their squaddies. Its fun working together for a common goal.
What gets me are those 20-30 missions that are just unnecessary. They want the NO opposition. They want their cake and eat it too. It is annoying because they are dictating their gameplay is fun and having no regard to the other guys fun. Yet when 1 guy against 20 busts their missions, the 3 star generals get all butt hurt and upset.
Funny thing is these guys love using these horde tactics, but are always upset when the tactic is used on them.
