The NEW and gloriously fun GV challenge

Here's something that's actually ALOT of fun: Now i know some people know that you join GVs as the gunner/commander. Try this: get a tank driver and gunner together and go hunting :rock alibaba from the VI (and hopefully a soon to be squaddie :D ) and i did this last night before an epic GV battle erupted. Both of us got a few nice kills as the gunner. My challenge for you is to up a 2 man GV and kill 5 or more enemies (you can kill 3 and land them though). Try to vid this and post it here :aok <S> guys. Good hunting.


Hints...for some of you gun ho solo crazies you need to... work AS A TEAM. The commander MUST tell the driver where to go. Therefore, switch off every time you lose a tank to keep the fun going :aok . Call out targets for each other, get in good positions to ambush the enemy etc. A good line of fast communication and good reaction times are very helpful. Ten bucks to the first to team up and land with 10 kills!!!

never knew it was possible to do that....sound fun.

I go from planes to GVs about every 6 weeks.....and I'm diggin the new M4

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

Yep, during one of the first FSO frames to include GV's, we joined tanks as gunners and had a blast.  Give a new meaning to "run and gun".  :rock

I don't know if that fight among ground pounders where I was, end up being result of what you just said but it was a pretty brutal one. I died about 13 times and only 1 kill. I am pretty sure I had target painted on my M4  :confused:

While the idea is a fun one, the fact that the gunner gets icons kinda ruins it.

i was at least 5 of your deaths :aok i was the tiger that held the line on the opposite side of the open terrain by the hills and before that i was the one who staged the 6-7 GV assault in the treeline and personally gave the go ahead to charge over that same terrain fast but no support stalled our attack on you guys. It would have worked if we reinforced the surviving 3 on the other side in time.

That has what to do with my statement?  I'm not referring to the name in lights, but the fact that when you gun for someone in a GV you see the enemy GV icons.
