Saitek Question

Is it possible to map two (2) functions to the same key with the SGE1.4 software for the X36 USB combo?  While sitting here at work (ha) the question popped up as to whether pulling the trigger (and firing all guns) could also turn the film recorder on, and of course when letting up on ,it turn the recorder off. Creating "gun cam" footage so to speak. anyone know off the top of their heads?

yes- use the advanced mode,

map the button to :

[AltR](fire key on kb)[AltR]

Doesn't look too nice though I warn you- makes for short choppy films usually.

Thanks Sorrow, you were right. Went back to puting the film "trigger" on another button, just have to pretend I am arming my guns. Surprising how much those few seconds before firing commences brings to the film. now to remember to turn the silly thing off

What I do is put that silly "safe" button to work. I mapped

[altr] 45 seconds [altr]

to it. Put down the button and "arm" your guns turning on the camera. Rarely have I needed to hit it a second time to record an engagement.
