I got this from Wild Bill and the Boys over at Warturds today. Recall that Wild Bill is that guy who used to be in biz with Addink. I don't know the details, or much, really, about that relationship. I can only guess, though, that Dale might've bailed after "Wild Bill" got really likkered up on a domestic flight and availed himself of the mealcart as a place to drop a chimichanga-fueled extry-pungent dookie.

You tell me that "Wild bill" hasn't at least gotten wasted enough at a company bowling outing to crap his hotel room bed...

Back when I was with Arvin CanSpam (CalSpan) we had a guy I'll call Tony Machala - because that was his name. He got so drunk that the other guy who was sharing the hotel room (twin twins - nothing funny here afaik) awoke around 4 in the morning to the smell of beached loaf.

After waking Tony, they had to call room service. Tony got the supreme indignity of having to hand the soiled sheets out to the wait staff.

We used to try to make him feel better. I mean, he was a hugely fat guy without that much going for him except his approaching retirement. We'd cheer him up by saying things like, "don't feel bad, Tony. You're not the first full-grown man whose obesity makes him resemble Jabba the Hutt. You're not the only fully grown adult to crap all over himself in a hotel bed."

He never seemed consoled by this.

I'm not directly accusing Wild Bill of doing that... I'm just saying, with a handle like that, you wouldn't put it past him, right?
I've seen the pics he attaches. He's trying to paint an image of himself, both with the pics and the handle. I'm telling you, the pic he's painting and the real-life image of a cannon loose on a gundeck go hand in hand.

That's all.

But yeah, Tony Machala - lives out there near Mountain View somewhere... got so drunk he crapped his bed. Anybody out there work at NASA ARC?
