I do have to admit that I did chuckle slightly the day I saw a newbie ask 'How do I get rid of the cockpit art?' and the response was 'alt-f4 will definitely get rid of it.'

Just hit it fast enough and it should work. If too slow it'll take 3 hits and you'll bail. Less than 1/4 of a second between 3rd and 4th...

I tested your shift + 4 enters thing in my M4, and didn't do squat. Then I tried it in my brewster and it didn't do squat. It doesn't even make you bail out. The worst that will happen from this is the endless crys of :


"ITS NOT WORKING.  WHAT DO I DO? WHY DO I KEEP DYING? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ".EZ" COMMAND?"

I tested your shift + 4 enters thing in my M4, and didn't do squat.

You need three more engines for Shift + 4 to work in an M-4.

 

I still alt + F4 when I try to go to Ground view sometimes.
