Pyro, Hitech, and all members of the AH staff,

With the recent loss of members, as in the past is there anyway that we can set up a Memorial Flyby for all the recently passed??

perhaps create a special event and hold it in one of those SEA arenas.  Like a memorial service.  Just a thought

I think that is a great idea. There's nothing stopping the players from making such a thing happen. Announce it and they will come  ;)

It needs to be done in the SEA....sadly. I remember the last time I took part in a memorial flight in the MA. I was shot down by pilot several times. When I PMed him to ask him to stop he stated he didn't care about honoring anyone and only wanted the free kills that everyone was giving him. (All 3 sides took part)

I'm sure the Raw Prawns would take part after having lost Rodders late last year.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

Sounds like a great idea to me, someone just needs to tell a CM for the SEA.

I am looking into this. I'll post what I can do to help as soon as I know. In the mean time a show of hands of those wanting to participate in the flight would help.

This is just me asking but, maybe a list. If this can be worked out in the SEA I would like a memorial list of those we are saying goodbye to. I just lost my niece so I will start ..

SheGotYa - Great Niece

I will keep the list so that we have it for the memorial flight or memorial thread I will do if the SEA is not available. I think it is a great idea to honor/have closure for, those we have lost and I would be honored to help. If you have lost someone in game another example could be:

Squad Name - Fallen Member

Ok I will keep you updated as I am updated. Feel free to PM me any questions or concerns.

there's a certain Bulletin Board I've been posting on...for almost 12 years.

in that time...as you can imagine...you get to form some bonds.  I mention that here..because the board actually has a section called "In Memorium" for members who have passed.  perhaps a dedicated Thread could be made here, somewhere on this bulletin board....

Air Warrior has the same thing. http://awreunion.myevent.com/3/memorials.htm

They have a list of pilots who have never returned to thier home bases. It is truly touching and an honor to show these pilots respect.

I'll attend such a service, it is the least I and the rest of us can do for our lost friends.  :salute

79th Fighter Group setup a Wall of Honor back in 2006 for fallen members of AH. Some members came over to AH from AW, so they have AW with AH by their name.

79th FG website - Wall of Honor

If you have a members name not listed. Send a e-mail or post on the link on the Wall of Honor. And we will get them added.

Note: Needed

1. name?

2. group / squad?

3. where they a CO or XO?

4. where they Air Warrior and Aces High II member?

Sorry for all the loss of members <S>

Disable all guns on a memorial flight then no one gets upset except the guy with no respect friend or foe like or dislike -a memorial flight is a solemn flight -
