Great fights tonight! That was the most fun I've had in the EW in a long time.
Even though i couldn't stop the base takes single handedly it was still great fun!
I enjoyed the target rich environment and i hope to do it again someday.  :aok

And I bet it was a welcomed change for them to actually fight a moving target.

If I were to guess I'd say it's more likely they were asking him to move to the other side of the map so they could continue to take bases unopposed.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

I spent about 1 to 2 hours in EW last night.  After the initial contact at one of the bases it died.  There were at least 10 people on the rooster but the only one flying besides me was Poof a brand new guy.  I got on 200 and asked if anyone else was going to come up.  I even chided and goaded the opposition to come up and put an end to my miserable life.  Ah but to no avail.  I would really love to spend more time in EW but it seems most spend more time avoiding me than laying my smoldering body to rest in the EW country side.  Salute to SIRB who was in a fight when I arrived.  Yes auguring can be funny, if you are not the one doing it.  Ouch that hurt.   :airplane:

I spend much time in EW (and some in MW).  One thing to remember:  it's only LW where channel 1 (All) is disabled.  Many people that frequent EW and MW don't need to have ch200 tuned, so probably never see your goading on 200 to get them to up.  I've also seen names on the roster that must be taking a nap...or waiting afk under the false assuption that they need to be logged in to get the perks when their side turns the map.

I switch sides all the time to look for a fight.  Yes, there are those that go out of their way to avoid a fight.  But there are also those that enjoy a fight as much as everyone else around here.  As with all arenas, there are those who only want to take bases...defended or not.

As far as the SOARs go, I'm not sure if anything has changed lately...  They used to be mouthy and cocky.  My guys and I had a great VBase vs VBase fight against them the other night.  Even had a couple of planes in the air.  Four of us against 4-5 of them.  They even brought bombers and downed all the hangers...twice...during the prolonged battle.  They eventually took the base after what seemed like 90 minutes of fun.  Not once was there any smack talk or general disrespect from either side; just good hard fighting.  In my side-switching, I've fought alongside some of the SOARS and found them to be no different than the rest of us.  Take it however you want, draw your own conlcusions and opinions.

Thank you for letting me know about the all country channel.  I was not aware of that.  Most of my goading and smack talking is just to try and stir something up.  Usually my butt can not cash the checks my mouth writes.  But it is fun as long as it does not get mean minded.  If anyone has questions as to if I am being serious let me know.   :rofl
