just a simple wish for the automatic switch to "attack" if ord is equiped on a fighter, and switch back if "clean" I am forever forgetting to change to "attack" when I take ords  :D

I suppose hitting something and surviving the run would also be required to take advantage of the feature?

What if you're in a IL2, TBM or A20? All carry ord bot you have a choice to fly in either attack or bomber. I say leave things as they are. Why change the game because some are forgetful?

If you're carrying ords, you're attacking something...unless you're weird and fly around waiting for the eggs to hatch.

Attack mode for 4 engined buffs. After all they are carrying ords so they must be attacking something. ;)

and your point is.................???? As far as I know bombers are not given a "fighter" choice, and attack aircraft are not addressed by this proposal and therefore would NOT affected, it ONLY applies to figher AC.

this idea would so TOTALLY kill those fighter score hos!!! +15!!! :x everyone would need to work harder for the number one then!!! :aok

(ps, they all switch to attack so as to keep their fighter rank and still being able to rank their attack up at the same time :D )

If you change it then all fighter sorties that also carry ord will have to remember to select fighter mode. So the guys that fly nothing but fighter mode will whine.

????? nope my suggestion is if they carry ord is an "attack" flight, if they don't it is a "fighter" flight.  So if they want to bomb vehicles it is a "Jabo" sorti.  Can't see how that will effect the outcome much except for the real "score mongers" and since we all profess to not care about score it couldn't possibly be a problem  :t

Except the guys that 'really' dont care always fly nothing but fighter mode even when they carry bombs. The only possible reason you could want this changed is if it messes up your score and that means... you care about score.  :confused:
