Mission Editor!!??!!

As one can read in the review of AH at simHQ. There is an Mission editor (not terrain editor) comin for 1.3

Is this true or false?

It has been in beta test by 1/2 dozen guys for a while now.

Looking forward to some misions and terrain that will let us set-up Historical two sided stuff.

Just curious as to what your expectations are in regards to a mission editor. I haven't really seen any kind of mission setup format of any kind in this game yet.  Maybe something that gives the host a way to start certain players at certain locations/alt with certain aircraft?  It seems that would have to be more of a manager than an editor... something that can be done as the players arrive.

This will surely be an great GM-tool for scenarios etc also...

Now we only need an HA witch selected GM´s can set different settings in

The applications this would have for spontaneous special events are obvious and interesting.  But note that the way the description was worded, it was implicitly an MA tool.  So, missions would be:
"Castrate Bish HQ"
"Carpet Bomb sheep pens by V47"
"Freie Gangbang over A1"

Guys from the description, I would expect it too work very similarly to the AW Briefing room concept.

Did everyone else totally miss the other reference that he made?

The one where late where AC would only be available depending on your track record in that AC?

In otherwords, a MAJOR incentive to fly to live! This could be the single biggest change to gameplay we've seen yet!

   This is *excellent*. I posted about this (asking, begging, pleading) twice now over the past few months. I'm really excited that a "mission creator" will actually be implemented.

   I've put down AH for a bit, but there's no doubt I'll be coming back when v1.03 hits the stands!

I must have totally missed it.
I that's not the way it'll be, or I'll loose me ride.  I always try to fly to live, but that dinnae mean you're gonna make it home in the MA

And it will totally frustrate the newbies when they see the late model stuff being flown but are stuck with early war stuff because they get thier arse handed to them.

No, it's not BAD and that's not what it means, but I would suggest you wait until it is clarified by Hitech or Pyro.

I personally think it's a great marketing idea, unique to AH as compared to any other on-line sim.

RELAX....wait for the next shoe to drop.....it will be exciting...

Badger, the mission editor is not in beta right now.  You have that confused with the terrain editor, which is being tested right now.
