The hawks just have too much firepower. Unless Philly can have outstanding (halak-esk) goaltending they are done. Carcillo will (as usual) do something absolutely STUPID and cost Philly at least ONE of the remaining games. Mark my words

Yes, I understand you only need one more than the other team to win but, I would hardly consider that a blowout.

I just think the Hawks can beat teams either way...If they want to play tight, they can. If they want to open it up, the DEFINITELY can do that. I see Philly as more of a one dimensional team. However, if they play like they did last night they could certainly pull it off. The game could have went either way last night. That second goal- while probably stoppable, was a hell of a shot! But a real game killer for the Flyers. If they revert to their game 1 plan then be ready for a short series. One thing I see that I like is that the Flyers seem to be more willing to sacrifice everything to block shots even if it means using their head! I saw alot of that last year in my Pen's but unfortunately hardly ANY this year. but, that kind of stuff wins A LOT of playoff games. (see: Rob Scuderi:) )

I'm not saying it's over but, I just don't see the Flyers winning 4 out of the next 5 against a pretty solid team.

That's just my opinion. Time will tell

If the Flyers lose, it won't be the first finals let-down in Philadelphia sports history   

They just always seem to play better when they are in a deficit.

I think what Bucky meant by "firepower" is the depth of their lines... I could be wrong.

And, I didn't see where "blowout" was ever used... even in the pre-series media hype.

I just hope that on the road... or sometime... Hawks first line scores a goal.

There have been a few games in the playoffs where the Hawks were outplayed... but when the final horn sounds -

Tell you Philly Fans what... if the Flyers win the series... I will personally buy a Flyers hat (not that I'm going to wear it) and, eat a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich.

But, I will not jump off a bridge... did they find Sunsfan yet?

Hawks just have the momentum right now, they've won 7 straight games, and are 10 for there last 11 games, thats hard to do during the regular season let alone this deep in the post season.

Yeah what was up with that first line? I was happy when the checking line was out there LOL!

I want them to win it at home so losing one I am ok with.  

Here is my little guy just a few months old in a sling I wore to a playoff game last year. He cheered the national anthem then slept through the next four hours which included an overtime period. WE WON!!





My little guy was out cold by game two start time but, I had em' touch his jersey for good luck LOL! Here is a little something from game one ...

Tell ya what guys. While Geno and Sid had a great playoff run last year....most of the dirty work and important goals came from the 3 and 4 lines. Perfect example is Max scoring those 2 goals in game 7 or Craig Adams scoring a huge goal against the Cap's. (and he never scores!). Also, just because that top line isn't scoring much doesn't mean they aren't very important.
