I'm Gutting One Of My P-II's To Make An AMD Thunderbird
« on: August 26, 2000, 01:35:00 AM »
I have 4 PC's, with speeds ranging from 950 to 350 MHz.  I am planning on gutting one of the 350's.

These are the components I chose:

Abit KT7 MoBo for the AMD T-bird: ~$140
AMD Thunderbird 800 MHz: ~$175
192MB Micron/NEC PC-133 RAM: ~$210
Fan + Heatsink for CPU: ~$15

The total comes out to be about $540.

The case has 2 fans, a 300w ATX power supply, and I am keeping the cards and stuff from the P-II.

Anything I should take into consideration?
