Pacific and European Maps
« on: May 31, 2010, 03:18:30 PM »
Instead of having blue and orange sort of together, how about having a pacific theater map and a european map. Pacific will have Japanese and American fighters, and RAF fighters that served there, European map will have C2's, 109's, American fighters, RAF fighters that served there. Orange arena can be Europe and blue arena can be pacific. Everyone wants some new maps, so this is my idea of how a couple of new maps can be made or atleast mixing the arenas up a bit instead of the same maps every time.

Yeah, but they don't have many selections in there like A6M, F4U, more 109's, etc.

You can try contacting the AvA staff and work together in bringing a scenario that has those aircraft selections.

The AvA runs PTO setups frequently. Everything is based on historical events so plane sets and ground vehicles will be limited to what AH has available that suits the setup. Sometimes a setup will include "other aircraft" that may be appropriate but one side or the other will have to achieve an objective to get it.

Although I enjoyed the old Air Warrior ETO/PTO split, it's really sort of pointless. The only aircraft you wouldn't have in the ETO map is the Japanese, since even the USN aircraft like the F4U and F6F were used in the ETO/Atlantic, so it really wouldn't be much different than the Mains as they exist now.

Enough to have some good fights if you check in at the right time.
