Went to the American Airpower Museum in Long Island on Saturday. Aircraft were using the facility as a base for landings and takeoffs in the Jones Beach Air Show. Saw a P-51, P-40, P-47, TBM, Corsair and B-17 takeoff, land and do some flybys. On Sunday saw "Corsairs over Connecticut" in Stratford, CT. Five corsairs (different models) took off, landed, did fly bys and flew in formation. Incredible! Also had a B-25 which simulated bomb runs. Never knew that plane was so maneuverable. What a weekend!
